About Us

David Barclay, MA, OTR, owner and designer, is a licensed
Occupational Therapist who brings 25 years experience as an OT together
with a passion for woodworking and design. He is a consulting OT to the
Santa Clara County Office of Education and is a "Resource Therapist" to
several other OTs and PTs working with children in special education.

David's energies have been directed toward producing quality Pediatric Therapy
Equipment based on designs that have been developed and tested in the Special
Education classroom. Each piece of equipment is designed for specific children,
taking into consideration key factors such as safety, durability, ease of adjustment,
simplicity of design, multi-functionality and attractiveness.

David enjoys the brain-storming sessions with other professionals and parents and
the immediate gratification of seeing a piece of therapy equipment being used
successfully to improve a child's quality of life.
